Education Qualification:
Application Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering or related fields; or a related degree.
- Experience: 3 to years of relevant experience
Preferred Experience & Education:
- C#, ASP.NET
- Azure Data Fundamentals
- Project Management skills
Skills needed to be successful:
- SQL, relational database, data analytics and SSRS reporting skills.
- Experience with installing and configuring applications that run under IIS and Windows services.
- Strong in problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with gathering requirements and transforming them into specifications.
- Ability to handle project work independently.
- Ability to create, document and follow processes and procedures.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Domain experience in healthcare-related fields, such as medical informatics, laboratory experience, health sciences or public health, is a plus.
- Skilled in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio).
- SAAS experience is a plus
- Ability to collaborate across teams and strong interpersonal skills.
- Has a working knowledge of medical laboratory or Public Health workflows.
- Proficient in some or all: HL7, HTML, JavaScript, XSLT
Essential Functions:
- Design, develop, test, document and deploy product features
- Perform requirements gathering and analysis activities to assist in the development of new products
- Assist and lead in various documentation activities and prepare and provide product training and demonstration for clients.
- Acts as the client’s technical advocate within the company by promoting ideas that contribute toward a more efficient and productive implementation of Clinisys products for the clients
- Understands the various deployment options of Clinisys products and interface options.
- Then, maps these options to meet client business needs.
- Creates and executes detailed technical checklists and processes to facilitate the implementation of Clinisys products and services
- Analyzes clients’ business rules and effectively communicates them to development, product management, documentation, support, and other individuals or teams
- Assists in the development of test plans for the alpha and beta phases of the implementation based on client-specific business models
- Analyze technical issues and develop creative solutions that minimize risk and ensure the successful deployment of software solutions.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
